Green Diamond Equipment Ltd. became one of the largest privately held John Deere dealer organizations in Eastern Canada on November 1, 2008, with the consolidation of Planters Equipment Limited (NS) and PEI Farm Equipment (PEI).
PEI Farm Equipment and Planters Equipment Limited partnered together to establish Green Diamond Equipment Ltd. in New Brunswick in 2007. Effective on November 1, 2008, Green Diamond Equipment Ltd. operates eight stores in the Maritime Provinces - three in New Brunswick, Moncton, Sussex, and Woodstock; three in Nova Scotia, Kentville, Middleton and Halifax; and two on Prince Edward Island, Summerside and Bloomfield.
We certainly feel that over the long-term, the merger will result in a stronger organization - one that builds upon the strengths of each of its partners. Our customers can expect improved access to a larger parts supply, a more diverse inventory of new and used equipment and a broader staff expertise. A stronger organization translates into stability and opportunity for our customers and employees.
You will have seen our name changes on the front of the buildings but the same familiar faces and customer service are still there to welcome you.
